Eight Sleep is a sleep fitness company making the world's most advanced smart mattress covers. This generalist Product Designer role has substantial ownership over the Eight Sleep mobile app experience, working closely with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Own end-to-end design for the Eight Sleep mobile app — information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups • Conduct usability studies and user interviews to validate and iterate on design decisions • Build and maintain UI component libraries • Present design direction to leadership • Mentor junior designers on the team WHO YOU ARE • 4+ years of UX/UI design experience with a shipped mobile app portfolio • Demonstrated ability to tie designs to measurable outcomes • Ability to mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback • High aesthetic standards and an obsession with simplicity • Experience with iconic consumer apps at startups is a plus; Android design expertise is a bonus
