About
I have 28 years of design experience at IBM. Most recently I have been leading teams of designers focused on improving internal tools for making IBMers become more productive. This included proposing and leading the design for integrating many of the core applications into one unified experience leading to the Nielsen Norman Group Intranet Annual Award in 2022. Since that win, I have been revamping the Developer Experience for IBM's 40k developers. This includes streamlining tools, process and APIs to more robust applications. It also coincided with the recent surge in AI so we've been providing tooling and understanding for developers can integrate AI appropriately and securely into their applications. To do all this, I have been the Design Advisor for the VP AI, Automation and Data Platforms, which means I work n the design strategy for these tools and support the creation and direction of these platforms. This includes directing 25 designers out of a larger team of 100 within the IBM CIO office.
